    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that approved applications have correctly completed check request available
    • Forward Check request to Accounting for processing purposes
    • Follow up with Accounting once checks have been cut and obtain signatures
    • Update spreadsheets with information associated with check #s, date and vendor
    • Mail payments to respective vendors
    • Address inquiries associated with payments received
    • Ensure that all required documents, information and copies are available for Billing Purposes
    • Prepare bank deposits

     SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES 

    • This employee will not have any supervisor responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Associates degree in Business Administration preferred
    • Minimum 12 months experience working in a social service delivery or related field
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is preferred.
    • Computer proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft office, particularly Intermediate Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s.
    • Basic knowledge of harm reductionist principles and approach in providing services
    • Experience working with a diverse population
    • Experience working with individuals of varying backgrounds and sexual orientations
    • Experience with processing ACH or Direct Deposit transaction 
    • Exposure to government grants
    • Experience with housing leases
