JOB SUMMARY
The Housing Information and Resource Specialist (HIRS) will work with clients who need information and resources that may be available through AID Atlanta or external community organizations to help stabilize housing, health and other socio-economic challenges. They will perform a screening assessment to see if clients meet the minimum requirement for immediate access to AID Atlanta case management, HOPWA/ HUD funded programs and referrals to other direct housing service organizations in the community. They will develop and update a database of housing resources and maintain direct relations with other HOPWA and non-HOPWA funded housing programs in the community to stay abreast of changes in programs or availability of services.
