    • Ensure that approved applications have correctly been completed and check requests are available for processing
    • Close working relations with Housing and Finance staff
    • Mail payments to respective vendors
    • Ensure that W-9’s are on file
    • Prepare all required documents, information and copies for Billing Purposes
    • Prepare desktop and make bank deposits
    • Prepare periodic ad hoc reports



    • This position will not have any supervisor responsibilities.



    • Associates degree in Business Administration preferred
    • Minimum 36 months experience working in Finance



    • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
    • Computer proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft office, particularly Intermediate Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s
    • Support General Accounts Payables functions
    • Preferred knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
    • Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
    • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
    • High level of accuracy, dependability, punctuality and efficiency
    • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills allowing for accurate and effective exchange of information with a variety of individuals
    • Flexible and Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships
    • Innovative problem-solver who possesses the ability to resolve issues with workable solutions based on available information, sound judgment and reasoning
    • Has a basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS
    • Ability to understand the obligations, functions, and programs of the agency and its relationship to staff, clients and the community
    • Requires an ability to establish appropriate priorities and work systematically and independently
    • Ability to treat people in a culturally appropriate manner within a diverse work environment
    • Experience working with a diverse population
